Navigating the Worlds of Arcane SMP
The Main World (Your Home)

This is the heart of Arcane SMP. The Main World is where you will build your legacy.
Purpose: This world is permanent and will NEVER reset. It is intended for all of your long-term projects.
What to do here:
Build your permanent base, house, or castle.
Create large-scale farms (iron farms, crop farms, mob grinders, etc.).
Set up your player shop and contribute to the server economy.
Start towns and collaborate on massive community projects with other players.
Showcase your creativity and building skills!
Land Protection: This is the world where you should use your land-claiming abilities to protect your hard work from grief.
Exploration: While you can gather resources here, you may find that areas closer to spawn have been picked over by other players. For fresh, untouched land full of resources, you'll want to visit the Resource Worlds!
Key Takeaway: If you want to keep it, build it in the Main World.
The Resource Worlds (The Wilds)

When you need to gather materials in bulk, from wood and stone to diamonds and ancient debris, the Resource Worlds are your destination.
Purpose: These worlds are intended ONLY for gathering materials. They are a wild, untamed frontier ready to be explored and harvested.
The Golden Rule:
WARNING: DO NOT BUILD BASES, HOUSES, OR FARMS IN THE RESOURCE WORLDS! These worlds are on a scheduled reset every two weeks. Anything you build or leave behind in chests will be permanently deleted during the reset. This ensures there are always fresh resources for everyone.
The Worlds Within: The Resource Worlds are a complete set of dimensions, including:
An Overworld with fresh biomes and ore generation.
A Nether packed with quartz, netherite, and fortresses.
An End with untouched End Cities and plentiful Elytras to find.
Portal System: Portals function independently within this cluster. For example, entering a Nether portal within the Resource Overworld will teleport you to the Resource Nether, not the Main World's Nether. This keeps your resource-gathering trips contained and easy to navigate. To return to the safety of the Main World, use a command like
/spawn
or/home
.
