📚Custom Enchantments

Guide to Custom Enchantments

Welcome to the ultimate guide to Custom Enchantments on Arcane SMP! This system adds over 100 new and unique enchantments to the game, allowing you to create incredibly powerful and specialized weapons, tools, and armor.

How to Get Custom Enchantments

The primary way to obtain these powerful enchantments is through Enchantment Crates. These crates can be found at /warp crates or other designated locations.

To open an Enchantment Crate, you must have two things:

  • Cost: $650 in-game money

  • Experience Cost: 5,000 XP (approximately 53 levels from level 0)

When you open a crate, you have a chance to receive an enchantment book from one of several tiers (Simple, Ultimate, Legendary, Fabled) or one of the special items listed below.

How to Apply Custom Enchantments

Applying a custom enchantment book is different from vanilla Minecraft. You do not use an Anvil. Instead, you can apply it directly from your inventory or by using a special command.

The most important thing to understand is that applying enchantments is RISKY. Each enchantment book has a:

  • Success Rate: The percentage chance that the enchantment will be successfully applied to your item.

  • Destroy Rate: The percentage chance that your item will be COMPLETELY DESTROYED if the application fails.

WARNING: Always read the lore on an enchantment book before you apply it! Applying a low-success, high-destroy rate book to your best sword is a huge gamble. Proceed with caution!

Method 1: Drag and Drop (The Fast Method)

This is the quickest way to apply an enchantment book.

  1. Open your inventory (E key).

  2. Pick up the custom enchantment book with your mouse cursor.

  3. Drag the book directly on top of the item you want to enchant.

  4. Release the mouse button to drop the book onto the item. The enchanting process will then attempt to apply.

Method 2: The Blacksmith (The Safe Method)

For a more controlled and clearer interface, you can use the Blacksmith.

  • Simply type the command: /blacksmith

This will open a dedicated menu where you can place your item and enchantment books to see exact success/destroy rates and manage your enchantments in a safer environment.

How to Protect Your Gear

Losing your best diamond gear to a failed enchantment is devastating. To prevent this, you should use a White Scroll.

  • Apply a White Scroll to your item before you attempt to add risky enchantments. If the enchantment application fails, the White Scroll will be consumed, but your precious item will be saved from destruction. You can get White Scrolls from Enchantment Crates.

Special Items from Crates

Besides enchantment books, you may also receive one of these special, useful items from an Enchantment Crate.

Item

Description

Black Scroll

A risky but powerful scroll. When applied to an item, it will remove one random custom enchantment, giving you an enchantment book of that type and level in return. Be careful, as it may not remove the one you want!

White Scroll

An insurance policy for your gear. Apply this to an item before attempting to add a new enchantment. If the enchantment application fails, the White Scroll is consumed, but your item is protected from being destroyed.

Transmog Scroll

This scroll allows you to change the appearance of one item to look like another, without changing its stats. Perfect for creating the ultimate "look" for your gear.

Secret Dust

A magical dust that improves your enchanting odds. It can be applied to enchantment books to increase their success rate or combined with other dust to upgrade an enchantment's level.

Item Nametag

Allows you to rename any item with a custom name and colors, just like a regular nametag but for your gear.

Fishtrak Creator

Apply this to a fishing rod to add a counter that tracks how many fish you've caught with it.

Mob Trak Creator

Apply this to a weapon to add a counter that tracks how many mobs you've killed with it.

Block Trak Creator

Apply this to a tool to add a counter that tracks how many blocks you've broken with it.
