How to Earn Money on Arcane SMP

A strong adventurer needs a strong bank balance! On Arcane SMP, there are many ways to earn money, whether you're a dedicated grinder, a creative builder, or a savvy merchant. This guide will walk you through all the methods you can use to build your fortune.

Method 1: Get a Job!

One of the most reliable ways to earn a steady income is by joining a job. Our server has a robust jobs system that pays you for performing specific tasks. As you work, you'll also level up your job, earning you even more money for the same actions!

• How it works:

  1. Use the command /jobs browse or /job to see a full list of available jobs, like Miner, Woodcutter, Farmer, Hunter, and more.

  2. Choose a job that fits your playstyle and click to join. You can typically join multiple jobs at once!

  3. Start playing! If you chose the Miner job, you'll earn money for every ore you break. If you're a Hunter, you'll get paid for every mob you slay.

This is a fantastic way to earn passive income while you're doing your normal survival activities.

Method 2: Become a Quest Master

Our server features over 1,100 custom quests, and many of them offer handsome monetary rewards upon completion. Embark on epic journeys, complete tasks for NPCs, and get paid for your heroic deeds.

• Check for a Quest Master at /spawn or use /quests to start your journey.

Method 3: Create Your Own Player Shop

The heart of our server is a player-driven economy. This means you have the power to become a top merchant! You can set up a physical shop that automatically sells your items to other players, even when you're offline.

How to create a shop:

1. Place a Chest: Put a single chest down where you want your shop to be.

2. Punch the Chest with the Item: Hold the item you want to sell in your hand and left-click (punch) the chest with it.

3. Set Your Price: The server will ask you in chat to type the price you want to sell the item for. Enter the amount.

4. Stock Your Shop: That's it! A sign will automatically be created on the chest. Now, just fill the chest with more of that item, and players can come by and purchase it from you.

You can create shops that buy items from players, too! It's the perfect way to turn your massive farms into a money-making machine.

Method 4: Use the Auction House

Have a rare item, a powerful enchanted sword, or a god-tier tool you want to sell? The Auction House is the perfect place to sell high-value items to the entire server at once.

• To sell an item: Hold the item in your hand and use the command /ah sell [price].

• To browse items: Simply type /ah to open the auction house menu and see what other players are selling.

Method 5: PyroFishing

Our custom fishing system isn't just for fun—it's profitable! Catching rare, custom fish can be a great source of income.

• Once you've got a good haul, head over to the dedicated fish market by typing /fish shop and sell your fish for a tidy profit.

Method 6: Other Great Ways to Earn

Keep these other methods in mind to maximize your income:

• Voting: Don't forget to vote every day! You get $500 in-game money for every single vote you cast. Check the /vote wiki page for more info.

• Leveling Up: As you play and gain experience on the server, you will level up. Reaching new milestones often comes with cash rewards! Check your progress with /levelsg.

• Admin Events: Keep an eye on announcements in-game and on our Discord! We randomly host special events with huge cash prizes. Participating is a great way to have fun and potentially win a massive jackpot.
