📜 Rules & Information Welcome to Arcane Realms! To keep the server fun and fair for everyone, please take a moment to read our rules and basic server information.
🛡️ Arcane SMP Server Rules
These rules apply to all players, regardless of rank or playtime. Ignorance is not an excuse.
🧱 1. General Behavior & Conduct
Be respectful to all players and staff. Toxicity, harassment, or hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) will not be tolerated.
Keep chat family-friendly (no excessive swearing, NSFW topics, or offensive language).
No spam, excessive CAPS, or flooding chat.
Do not impersonate staff or other players.
English only in public chats (to ensure moderation).
🧨 2. Hacking & Cheating
Strictly no hacked clients, cheats, exploits, or unfair mods (e.g., X-ray, fly, speed, kill aura, etc.).
Allowed mods: OptiFine, MiniMap (no entity radar), Fulbright, Tweakeroo (non-combat QoL only).
No auto-clickers, macros, or scripts that give an unfair advantage (e.g., AFK farming, combat macros).
Punishment: Immediate ban (no appeals for blatant cheating).
🛠️ 3. Griefing & Stealing
Griefing is never allowed (destroying builds, lava casting, block spam, etc.) unless in PvP zones.
No stealing from chests, farms, or containers—even if unclaimed.
"Pranks" must be reversible (e.g., no TNT traps, wither spawns, or irreversible damage).
🏠 4. Claims & Land
Respect land claims (use
/claimsor ask before building near others).No building within 100 blocks of someone’s base without permission.
Unclaimed land ≠ free to grief. If it’s not yours, don’t touch it.
🏹 5. PvP Rules
PvP is consensual unless in designated PvP zones/war areas.
No spawn killing (killing players repeatedly at spawn or safe zones).
No combat logging (logging out to avoid PvP death).
No trap killing (e.g., hidden lava, fall traps in non-PvP areas).
🔧 6. Bug Abuse & Exploits
Do NOT abuse dupes, glitches, or unintended mechanics (e.g., item duping, invincibility exploits).
Report bugs to staff immediately—abuse = ban.
🛒 7. Economy & Trading
No scamming (false trades, fake shops, misleading auctions).
No IRL trading (selling in-game items for real money).
No market manipulation (hoarding to inflate prices).
📢 8. Advertising & Links
No advertising other servers, Discords, or social media.
No unapproved links (malicious links = instant ban).
🎭 9. Alt Accounts
Max 3 accounts per player.
Alts cannot be used to:
Bypass bans/mutes.
Farm resources unfairly.
Hoard event rewards.
🔊 10. Voice & Discord Rules
Same behavior rules apply (no toxicity, slurs, or harassment).
No mic spam, ear rape, or soundboard abuse.
Discord-specific:
No @everyone/@here without staff permission.
No NSFW content in any channel.
⚖️ 11. Punishment & Appeals
Breaking rules = warn → mute → ban (severity depends on offense).
False reports waste staff time and may result in punishment.
Appeals must be submitted via Discord/website (no begging in-game).
🌍 12. Server-Specific Rules
No lag machines (excessive redstone, entity cramming, etc.).
No AFK farming unless allowed in specific zones.
Staff decisions are final—arguing = mute.
⚖️ Punishment Guidelines
Staff will escalate punishments based on severity and repeat offenses:
🔹 Minor Offenses (Usually result in:)
Warning → Temporary mute/kick → Short ban (1h–1d). Examples: Spam, accidental grief, mild disrespect, minor PvP violations.
🔹 Major Offenses (Usually result in:)
Temporary ban (1d–7d) → Permanent ban (for repeat offenders). Examples: Theft, intentional griefing, combat logging, macro abuse.
🔹 Zero-Tolerance Offenses (Instant permanent ban, no appeal.)
Hacking/cheating (X-ray, kill aura, etc.).
Hate speech/racism.
Duping/exploits.
IRL trading/scams.
Ban evasion.
